Lumber
• We use Kiln Dried Lumber
• Shrinkage will be reduced and it will be stable dimensionally.
• Less cracking and movement in the finished Home.

24” O/C - Single Top Plate
• 2x6 studs spaced at 24” O/C.
• It ensures the structural integrity of the walls and helps to conserve energy by minimizing the number of studs through which the cold air can transfer. (Referred to as Thermal Bridging). Also R-2000 homes are at 24” O/C.
• Minimizes energy consumption.

Acoustical Sealants at Floor and Roof Connections
• Bead of acoustical sealant under the perimeter wall
• Eliminates air leakage and wind
• Maintains comfort and energy efficiency

Insulation
• Fiberglass insulation installed from the outside of the home.
• It will eliminate air gaps on the cold side of the insulation therefore preventing convection currents from being created within the walls.
• It will eliminate condensation which may occur due to cold air currents and helps preserve the structures integrity.

 

Blown In Insulation
• It dissipates the excess moisture.

Sealed Electrical Boxes with Acoustical Sealant
• Electrical outlets and seams in poly are sealed with acoustical sealant.
• To minimize the air infiltration through the plugs or joints in the vapor barrier.
